in chapter ten it was about the great depression amd wwii. i learned that black tuesday was when the stock market crashed and that started the great depression. also boeing pretty much got rich off of wwii because the demand for planes was really high.
this trimester i have learned alot about Washington state history such as how the Oregon trail influencedthousands of people to come to washington. i think that we could improve this project in completing this project by having a weekly check and they would have to have 2 comments a week so that no one gets behind. the assessment itself could be alot better i think. i dont think we should do the alphabet because lots of letters like z and q are like impossible to find. i think the best cryteria in content is i brought to life every single comment by a picture and a hyperlink on 10 of them. the worst out of content is if i included a title and what comment from what chapter. the best style i have is i have colored the maps by regions. the worst thing is that the people dont know waht comment came to what chapter. i thought this exel map was hard work to me but kinda fun at the same time.
what i learned in chapter 3 is that the coastal and plateau Indians where very different people.
what i learned in chapter 2 was that in washinton wasthere are so many diffrent animals and plants.
in this chapter i learned that Washington was made in the last ice age and the scab lands was made by a glacier.
What i liked about the wiki was it saved alot of time (somewhat) i also like that diigo saved alot of time rather than taking and writing down new notes. What i didn’t like about is was that it kept deleting peoples work including mine. i think i could have improved my wiki by writing more and going to a credible work site.
well i don’t think i did very well on mine cause i had to restart the whole thing last night because i spilt milk all over it. i would like to more of these projects instead of tests because i think you learn more from these so you can make them your own. i would change everything on that book. and i prefer projects over quizzes.
The first tip i would give to you is save all your money then go and buy 2 camels and 2 goats then mate them. My second tip to you is find a oasis and become sedentary. My third tip is if you fallowed my first rule go to the coastal plains and sell the oldest goat and camel you have then buy food and water pouches and or what ever you want. My fourth tip is to wear lots of baggy clothes in the desert. My fifth tip to you is in the mountains build a terrace. My sixth tip is use date trees to build your houses in an oasis or on the mountains usemud to make mud bricks to make a house. tip seven to you is for some reason you end up living on a coastal plain make sure to irrigate and build dams and make wells. My eighth tip to you is to make a clan so you can each help each other out. my ninth tip is that you if you have a clan pick an oasis to use the date trees and water to grow and grow. and my last tip to you is make sure to use all the rules i told you to use.
Ive done pretty good in SS this year the one thing I’ve needed to do is study for a long while before a test. Next trimester I’m going to study before every test work on my homework cause i never did it if we even had any. Lastly i could use some help on studying like giving me questions. If you can that would be very great.
Useing a wiki has been great fun. I like how you can choose difrent colors for really anything. Another thing about the wiki is that anyone can use it. That is why i like useing wikispaces. The part of this weeks learning target is evalutaing websites. Evalueating websites was pretty hrad for me most of them had like nothing on them and some of them got blocked, so that ment i couldnt really fill out the sheet but i did for two of them. Thats why i thought is was hard.
